The Cole County Historical Society’s Bicentennial Golf Classic happens Friday, June 11th at Eagle Knoll Golf Club. It includes a catered lunch, an 18-hole scramble, cash prizes, contests and a 50-50 raffle. Lunch will be served at 11:30 am, with a shotgun start following at 1:00 pm.

            The Tournament promotes awareness of the Society’s mission while raising funds for its general operating expenses. “The Cole County Historical Society & Museum really is a treasure of your history, right here in our community,” Board of Directors Member Dale Verslues said. “This tournament is a great way for individuals and businesses to support the preservation of local history while having a lot of fun.”
